This beautiful antique Sensu and Paper Crane patterned waist bag has the sensu (folding fan) which stands for development and prosperity. the paper cranes symbolize peace, love, hope, and healing during challenging times. Cranes also represent longevity and happiness.
The body is made from a beautiful fukuro obi.
The “fukuro obi” is made with a fine silk brocade or tapestry. This bag is made from silk thread and is woven like a tapestry.
